Professional wedding photographer
This is a site I made for a professional wedding photographer. It is a showcase for their services. I made use of dynamic drive's Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow. I think it shows off her excellent pictures really well in a clean and classy way. |

This site
A bit circular, I appreciate, but it is an illustration of the sort of things we offer. I particularly like the feedback button on certain pages - all database controlled and run. |
 |
E-publisher
e-commerce site for an on-line only book seller, Lysandra Press |
 |
Small home-worker company
This was a small upholsterer wanting to broaden their market base. The site was a shop-window for the sorts of services and products they could offer. Quite heavily graphical, because how else do you know what you are talking about when it comes to upholstery. |
 |
Family run builder
A showcase for some amazing projects that this company has worked on to enhance its already great reputation. |

Local good-food guide
This is a full Web 2.0 site. The idea arose from a number of factors. First and foremost is the magnificant tradition around food and wine in the Garfagnana area of Tuscany. Most villages have a 'sagra' linked to a local delicacy, local produce or some other connection with food. Few are as famous as Vitello Milanese or Parmigiano Reggiano. Nevertheless, people here take food seriously and I thought that deserved attention more widely. Having found no other site like it, I decided to build it myself. This started out as an opportunity to try out one or two new bits of coding, but progressively developed into the site you see here. |
 |
Consultancy web site
A site developed and hosted for Persuasion, a small consultancy for which I occasionally do consultancy work. |
 |
Professional service provider
This is a small site we did for a management consultant looking to start out on their own. In the event their career took a different turn. |

Local Swimming Club
My first remotely serious site. WSC was my son's swimming club at the time. Membership was low, funds were tight and I had been co-opted as Treasurer. In addition to streamlining the finances, it became immediately obvious that more members were needed to cover the club's fixed costs, hence some branding (the "W") and a new web site. WSC had had no web presence up to that point. What you see here is the third iteration, designed using one of the MS Frontpage templates. Membership more than doubled over the next year with a lot of enquiries coming from the web site, and the club stated to break even. Subsequent webmasters have rather let the site go to seed and now it is almost a one-page site, which is a bit of a pity really. |

Personal web site
Nothing very exceptional here. It is my own home page. It gave me an opportunity to extend my knowledge of Javascript, the little timer widget you see. The quotes, which come from a database, were my first foray into MySQL. I forget how many times I have played with the look and feel over the years. Probably in need of a face-lift. |
